Calling all young scientists!
At STEM Night, we will have a special Science Fair Room where Kindergarten through 8th grade students can create and display their very own science projects. Bring your creativity, curiosity, and love for science!
Students participating in grades k-2 will earn 5 homework passes.
Students participating in grades 3-8 will earn 5 points toward a major grade and 5 points toward a minor grade.
How to Participate
⭐ Create a simple science project at home — any topic you love!
Examples: volcanoes, plants, magnets, weather, robots, energy, colors, animals, etc.
⭐ Bring your project to STEM Night and set it up in the gym’s Science Fair Showcase.
⭐ Share what you learned! You don’t have to present formally — just be ready to talk about your project to friends and families who walk by.
Simple Rules for Every Project
⭐ A Tri-Fold Poster/Display Board
Include:
-Your project title
-Your question : What were you trying to find out?
-Your experiment or activity : What did you do?
-Your results : What happened?
-Your conclusion : What did you learn?
⭐A Hands-On Item or Example (optional)
If you can bring your experiment, model, or demonstration, great! If not, photos or drawings are perfect.
⭐ Safe & School-Friendly Projects Only
No fire, chemicals, explosions, or sharp objects. No live animals. Any liquids must be sealed.
⭐ Students Driven Project
Students can partner up with a friend! Family can help—but let the student be the scientist and complete the work themselves!
